Scates Valley Irrigation was founded in 1983 by the Scates brothers Pat, Steve, Mark, Hugh David, Joe and Tom.  The Scates’ previously sold Raincat irrigation but quickly saw that Valley was the industry leader and became a dealer of Valley in 1983.  They opened an office in Shawneetown, IL and Carmi, IL and quickly started selling to local farmers who were seeing the difference in yields on the irrigated acres.

Over the next 30 years Scates Valley expanded their sales and service area.   Today’s Scates Valley consist of 14 full time employees who take care of over 300 customers center pivot needs.
